‘Paappan’ is a much awaited movie by the Malayalam moviegoers. The reason behind this is that director Joshi and Suresh Gopi are teaming up after a long gap. The updates coming in relation to the film are getting huge acceptance from the audience. Now the makers have announced the release of the film.
Pappan will release in theaters across the country on July 29 (2022). The makers have also released the release date announcement poster. Pappan is also the first film where son Gokul and Suresh Gopi are teaming up.

The second schedule of Suresh Gopi’s 252nd film Pappan started on December 13. Then the shooting was completed in January. Papan is also a confluence of generations. Joshi is joined by his son Abhilash Joshi as creative director. Ajay David Kachapilly, son of producer David Kachapilly, is the cameraman of the film.
After ‘Salam Kashmiri’, Joshi and Suresh Gopi will play the role of ‘Abraham Mathews Pappan IPS’ in the film. The crime thriller film also stars Neeta Pillai, Naila Usha, Asha Sarath, Kaniha, Chandunath, Vijayaraghavan, Tiny Tom, Shammi Thilakan and others.
The film is written by radio jockey and screenwriter RJ Shanin. Cinematography by Ajay David Katchapilly. Editing by Shyam Sasidharan. Music by Jakes Bejoy. Sound Design Vishnu Govind, Sreesankar, Art Direction Nimesh M Thanur, Makeup Ronex Xavier, Costume Design Praveen Verma, Production Controller S Murugan, Chief Associate Director CB Jose Chalissery, Stills Nandu Gopalakrishnan, Designs Old Monks, PRO Vazhur Jose, Manju Gopinath, Dream Big Films Will be exhibited.
