On Thursday, the press service of the Police and Border Guard Board reported that the stuffed owl stolen from the Estonian Museum of Natural History on November 7 had been found.

“We are pleased to announce that thanks to the information received, the police have identified the person who stole the stuffed animal from the museum,” said Ida-Harju Police Station investigator Kaido Atspol. -Today, police officers visited a 64-year-old man suspected of theft, who was very ashamed of what happened. Fortunately, despite the short walk around the city, the stuffed owl is in good condition and after a short stay at the police station, it will soon be able to return to its home.”

The police thank everyone who provided information about the identity of this man and thereby helped in the search for the museum exhibit.
