A bridge near the village of Kariža has been destroyed, reports Vladimir Romanov – one of Russia’s so-called Z-bloggers, authors of web platforms that fervently support Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Romanov does not provide further details.

“The enemy also destroyed the last stationary bridge over the Seimas river,” reports another Z-blogger Jurijs Podoliaks about the incident.

Russian troops are now supplied by pontoon ferry, and this is “completely sufficient to carry out effective actions to stop the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the blogger claims.

Even after Podoliak’s message, Roman Alekhin, adviser to the temporary governor of the Kursk region, also reported on the destruction of the bridge.

He also claims that by destroying the bridge “a serious advantage will not be gained”, as the Russian soldiers “quickly created pontoon crossings”.

Z-bloggers have not published photos or videos of the destruction of the bridge.

The Ukrainian army has not yet reported a strike on this bridge.

There were three bridges over the Seima river in Glushkova district.

One of them, near the village of Glushkova, was destroyed during the August 16 strike.

Initially, the destruction of the bridge was reported by Z-bloggers and anonymous “Telegram” channels.

Later, the Ukrainian army published a video of the attack on the bridge.

On August 18, the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Army, Mykola Oleschuk, reported the destruction of the second bridge near the village of Zvannoje.

With the destruction of the bridges, the part of the Glushkov district bordering Ukraine is separated from the main part of the district, Z-bloggers said.
