“Trapped”, season 3, Netflix
Here they come again. Andrej Ólafsson returned to the town from which Siglofjordur was exiled, and together with his friend Trusta (what names, what names) and together with the current police chief Hinrika, they try to solve a new murder mystery.
A major change is seen in the new season: it takes place in the summer. That is, it doesn’t snow, and you can actually walk around in short clothes in Icelandic terms, meaning stocking cap, sweater and teddy coat. The ground around is brown, snow is visible only on the distant mountain tops, really tropical heat.
The plot, it should be noted, is the weakest of the three seasons filmed. Satan’s angels on motorcycles come from Denmark, take care of a cult that settles in the area, in the middle there is murder, also drug smuggling, and somehow, it must be said, no arrests. Lucky to have Andrey to hold things on his shoulders, otherwise who knows what would have happened there in the action city Siglofjordur.
