From Bulgaria we will be able to see a total solar eclipse in 2081.
NASA maps show that in 2081 there will be an eclipse visible from Bulgaria, announced Associate Professor Kamen Kozarev at the “Hello, Sun” youth festival, which is being held today in “Sofia Tech Park”. Science is so advanced that it can even predict what the crown will look like.
According to him, the most important thing is not to look without protection, this can be a filter or special glasses, except in total darkness. Today it passes from Mexico, through 15 states of America, after which it will sink into the ocean.
At the festival, our famous archaeologist Prof. Diana Gergova spoke about the deep insights and knowledge of the Thracians about the movements of celestial bodies.
As well as the capital of the Geths, known as the City of Wolves or the City of Light, who knew the positions of the planets and the Milky Way to perfection.
“The proto-Bulgarians not only created the world-famous solar calendar, but also five members of the Dulo family ruled with shaved heads, because that’s how they worshiped the Sun and the Moon,” she further explained.
The archaeologist also noted that the first eclipse was documented in Ireland on November 30, 3040 BC.
“Later, there are reports from ancient Egypt that there was also a total eclipse on October 30, 1207 BC.
2700 years ago, in Sumer, one of their astronomers wrote that the Sun and the Moon were in opposition – noted Prof. Gergova. – In Thrace there was an extremely high culture in the fields of mathematics, astronomy and space.”
The president of the “Atlantic Club” Solomon Passy opened the event and announced that the next “Hello, Cosmos” will be on June 25. And for the current youth festival, he thanked “Ratio”, Nova TV, “Kosmos” magazine, “Sofia Tech Park”, the Faculty of Physics of SU, etc.
