Relatively good news. France’s trade deficit on trade in goods actually improved slightly in the third quarter, according to data published this Wednesday by Customs. Between July and September, it reached 25.3 billion euros, or 300 million less than in the previous quarter.

If exports and imports both fell by 1.4%, the latter “decreased more” in absolute value, Customs specified. Exports of goods reached 152 billion euros and imports 177.2 billion.
