One thing has to be left at the traffic light: It is ambitious to work. To a large extent, the coalition agreement breathes a spirit of optimism. Finally, one might say. After the country has been ruled by a grand coalition for twelve of the last 16 years, there is now justified hope for the first time that the (partial) standstill will be overcome and that the days of the crippling little one will be over. The economic and political part of the agreement between the SPD, the Greens and the FDP is particularly convincing. To name just a few examples, the coalition wants to accelerate the climate-friendly restructuring of the economy, invest billions in digitization, improve depreciation and significantly increase spending on research and development.
