The trailer of the much awaited Dhanush-Karthik Narain movie Maran has arrived. Activists claim that Maran has become the first Tamil film to share a trailer through the Twitter Unlock feature. Contrary to the celebrity release tradition, the cast also provided the audience with an opportunity to release the trailer.
The movie will be released on March 11 via Disney-Hot Star. Dhanush will be seen in the film as a journalist. The film is produced by Satya Jyothi Films’ banner Senthil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. Samudrakani, Krishnakumar and Aadukalam Narain will also be seen in the lead roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film. The song ‘Marani’ has already hit the charts.
Karthik Narain is the director who got attention with his film ‘Dhruvangal Padinar’. ‘Mafia Chapter 1’ is directed by Narain. Karthik Narain also starred in the Tamil anthology film ‘Navarasa’. Karthik Narain has written and directed the part ‘Project Agni’. Dhanush is currently busy with the film ‘Vathi’. Directed by Venki Atuluri, the film will be released in Tamil and Telugu.
