Turkish President and Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at the 8th Party Congress held at the Hayri Gür Sports Hall in Trabzon.
As Day.Az reports with reference to Anadolu, in his speech the president paid special attention to the fight against terrorism.
According to him, the armed forces are determined to rid Turkey of terrorism, conflicts, violence and instability will become history.
“We have finally defeated the terrorist organization Daesh, which in recent days they are planning to return to the agenda again as an instrument for the implementation of regional plans,” Erdogan said.
The head of the Turkish state said that the era of violence, terrorism, and playing cantonists relying on the imperialists has ended.
“As a result of operations organized in northern Syria, the Turkish Armed Forces pushed the PKK terrorists away from the country’s border line,” Erdogan added.
The President once again emphasized that the Turkish Armed Forces intend to fundamentally eliminate the threat of terrorism, which is an obstacle to the stability of the entire region.
The new Syrian administration is determined to protect the territorial integrity and unitary structure of the country. The separatist terrorist organization has almost no supporters, patrons and masters except the Zionists, who killed 50 thousand Palestinians in Gaza. At this stage, the end of the road for the terrorist organization is already in sight. They have no choice but to surrender their weapons, renounce terrorism and disband the organization. The other way is to face the iron fist of the Turkish Republic, which is experiencing its most powerful period in the last century.”
According to him, Turkey’s enemies will eventually face the immutable realities of geography: “First of all, everyone should know that the era of playing cantonists, relying on the imperialists with weapons, violence and terrorism, is completely over.
The president said Turkey will not allow those who are trying to darken the future of the region with terrorism to take advantage of the situation: “We will not allow new walls to be built between us and our brothers and sisters with whom we share a common geography and have lived side by side for a thousand years.” .
Erdogan concluded his speech as follows:
“Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Persians – we are the ancient masters of this geography. We have been together for centuries, we are together, we have a common past. For this reason, we will not participate in the games of the imperialists who pit brothers against each other and exploit them resources on divide and conquer tactics.
