By the end of the second day of voting in the elections to the State Duma, the Central Election Commission recorded a total turnout of 31.51%. These are preliminary data on the turnout at the polling stations excluding remote voting.

Earlier, the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, said that the minimum turnout was recorded in St. Petersburg (14.84%), Khakassia (14.53%) and the Kaliningrad region (14.48%). The maximum is in the Kemerovo region (46.86%), the Republic of Tyva (50.14%) and Karachay-Cherkessia (52.85%).

In Russia, from 17 to 19 September elections are held at various levels. Citizens elect deputies of the State Duma of the VIII convocation, heads of nine subjects and 39 regional parliaments. Municipal elections are also held on these days.
