Doksuri made landfall in the coastal areas of the city of Jinjiang, in the southeastern Fujian province, around 09:55 local time (01:55 GMT) on Friday, with gusts of up to 50 meters per second near its eye, according to the provincial meteorological authorities. The typhoon is forecast to move northwestward, gradually weakening in intensity.
