USWNT Players Embrace New Beginning at December Camp
The U.S. women’s national team is currently in the final camp of the year in Fort Lauderdale, and the prevailing theme among players and staff is one of a new beginning. The atmosphere and energy around the camp have shifted, signaling a change and setting the tone for the team’s future.
Part of the reason for this renewed sense of purpose may be attributed to the presence of Emma Hayes, the team’s next head coach. Although Hayes had to briefly meet with the players and staff before returning to her duties with Chelsea FC, her impact was palpable.
