(Web Desk) The British government has canceled the electronic visa service for Jordanian citizens, which was launched a few months ago.
According to the foreign news agency, any Jordanian citizen wishing to come to the UK will have to apply for a visa through the embassy in the traditional way. The British Government’s electronic visa service for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states remains intact.
The e-Visa service system was implemented at the end of last February. The service was activated in Jordan about 6 months ago, allowing Gulf and Jordanian nationals to obtain electronic travel visas called ETAs within hours.
Previously, Jordanian and Gulf nationals had to apply for a visa to travel to the UK through embassies in their home countries.

Under the new decision, any Jordanian national traveling to a third destination via British airports must also obtain a “transit visa” from the embassy, making Jordanian nationals eligible to travel to the UK with an electronic travel authority. will be

The British government has confirmed that the electronic travel permit system for citizens of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman is in place as usual.
