The UK is ready to share its experience in the field of cybersecurity with Azerbaijan as a close partner.
As Day.Az reports on Monday with reference to Trend, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld said this during an event on the topic “British Cyber Security Exhibition in Azerbaijan.”
“Azerbaijan is in a difficult neighborhood. Azerbaijan knows it must be even more attentive to the dangers that cyber attacks can pose and the best methods to prevent them. When such attacks target critical infrastructure, they threaten the economy and society, putting lives at risk people. President Ilham Aliyev has made the development of cybersecurity one of the main priorities for the country, and the UK is ready to share its experience as a close partner. I hope that after the event, cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK in the field of cybersecurity will develop even further,” he noted.
According to him, the UK is the world’s leading provider of cybersecurity services.
“Our strengths include leadership in cyber intelligence, effective public-private partnerships, an ecosystem of innovation and startups, a commitment to education and training, a strong regulatory framework and global influence on cybersecurity,” he added.
