The wreckage of the Russian Geran 1/2 (Shahed) kamikaze drone was identified in Tulcia County, a member of NATO, Romania, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense announced on Thursday. According to the representatives of the agency, allied structures have been informed about the situation.
“The Ministry of National Defense strongly condemns these Russian attacks against certain targets and infrastructure elements,” the statement emphasized.
The document notes that on the night of July 25, the Russian military resumed drone attacks against civilian objects and port infrastructure in Ukraine, near the border with Romania.
Meanwhile, the situation on the Ukrainian front remains complicated. Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, informed that despite heavy losses, the Russians continue to advance towards Pokrovsk, active combat actions of varying intensity are taking place along the entire front line.
