The UNIA webinars on teaching innovation for this course registered an average of 368 registrations

The International University of Andalusia (UNIA) has completed the six webinars for the 2022-2023 academic year with an average of 368 registrations.

These #webinarsUNIA are included in the Teacher Training and Support plan, promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Teaching Innovation and Digitization and designed and coordinated by the Innovation Area, as reported by the UNIA this Friday.

There have been more than 2,200 participants, of which 79.39 percent came from Spain; 2.26 percent, from other European countries and the rest, from Latin America (14.69 percent). In this last section, Ecuador stands out, with a 4.98 percent participation; Argentina, with 2.58, and Colombia, with 1.36 percent.

Regarding the evaluation of the #webinarsUNIA, of the 311 people surveyed, the majority, 98.82 percent, think that these courses and the way in which they have been proposed is adequate and that they are a useful tool for their learning. in virtual teaching, innovation and digital skills.

Of those 311 respondents, 44.05 percent correspond to teachers from universities outside the UNIA; 1.92 percent, to UNIA teachers; 14.47, to Primary, Secondary or Vocational Training teachers and the rest, to other groups such as trainers, students and researchers.

The webinar ‘Designing educational infographics or activities based on visual information to promote learning and visual thinking’ has the highest percentage of return with respect to the number of registrants, although it should be noted that none of the six webinars is below 55 percent.

The participation rate has reached an average of more than 59 percent compared to that registered in the previous edition, that of 2021-2022, which was 48 percent.

The #webinarsUNIA are free online seminars, aimed at the design of virtual educational programs, the application of ICT in teaching innovation or the creation of content and other digital skills.

These courses received the 2017 CMKM Annual Marketing Award, in the category of Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Action by the Malaga Marketing Club.
