In this entertaining orienteering rally, you have to show all your intelligence using the map and the road book, find a lot of geographical, historical and other attractive objects, and everything is redeemed by the wonderful views of the sea passing through the car window.

A record and maximum number of teams registered for the event this year – as many as 108. This means that more than 100 groups of friends, colleagues or acquaintances went on the most fun summer adventure. Impressively dressed women had the opportunity to introduce themselves and show off their cars on the official “1006 km race” track, before embarking on an orienteering adventure.

It is also impressive that out of all registered crews, as many as 45 teams are participating in the event for the first time. Eight teams will participate in the electric car competition, 13 teams will participate in the two-member competition. There are as many as 95 crews in the more than two-member competition, and 22 teams in the “Three Challenges Plus” competition. This year’s innovation is the corporate team competition, where 7 teams registered.

Jolanta Iselionienė, the organizer of the event, has no doubt that local racers will find new places today.

“We hope that the girls will see a lot of new places while driving the new route. The route stretches along the most beautiful coastal roads of Lithuania. The girls from Palanga moved towards Klaipėda, the port of Drėverna. After that, Šilutė, Vilkyčiai, Kretinga will be waiting, and the finish, of course, in Palanga – J. Iselionienė opened the veil of secrecy a little. – Most of all, we want the girls to like it and be able to say with pride that they have overcome the challenge. After all, there are no insurmountable challenges for women.”

The winners of the “108 km Women’s Challenge” will be announced and awarded at 10:30 p.m. Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook on stage.
