Today’s meeting of the Senate of the University of Patras has concluded with the topic of discussion being its future examination.
According to the announcement of the unanimous decision, which was issued, the tele-examination solution is not adopted due to possible volatility.
Exceptionally, Erasmus students, undergraduates, PhDs and postdocs will be examined online.
With regard to the courses, which will not be examined this period due to occupancy, it is foreseen that their examination will be postponed in the context of the extended examination in conjunction with the courses of the spring semester.
In the current phase, the period between February 10 and 18 will be used for exams at the University of Patras.

Unanimously finds that:
Mass examination of courses by online means does not guarantee the integrity of examinations, especially due to the possibilities given by technological developments in artificial intelligence
and decides unanimously that:
Exceptionally, online examination of Erasmus students, as well as bachelor’s, master’s theses and doctoral theses is permitted
2) The courses of the winter semester that will not be examined in the current examination period, will be examined in an extended examination together with the spring semester examinations.
3) Cases (1) and (2) are applicable for the Departments, which are under occupation.
4) The period 10-18 February 2024 can be used for conducting examinations.
