The next round of games in the Premier League will be dedicated to raising awareness of the issue of orphaned children in collaboration with the Sunflower Association starting this coming Saturday, December 25, 2021, and throughout the upcoming round of games in the Stock Exchange League, the games will open with a special ceremony.

“Sunflower” is the only organization in Israel that provides support to civilian bereaved orphans, by operating dozens of activity branches that support hundreds of orphaned children and adolescents in Israel, where children process together the loss they experienced to help them get their lives back on track. In Israel, there are about 30,000 children who have lost a parent in civilian circumstances. These children have lost the sun of their lives and the Sunflower Association makes sure they do not lose hope.

During the ceremony, the announcer of the game will read the same dedicated text on the subject on all pitches: “As part of the ‘Together for the Community’ activity, teams from the Stock Exchange League are joining forces today with the Sunflowers Association to raise awareness of orphans in Israel.”

Chairman of the Football Leagues Administration, Erez Kalfon: “We must miraculously raise the plight of various populations in Israeli society. The director of the leagues, the Stock Exchange League teams and the players have a great right to put the orphaned child population at the center in order to raise awareness of their various distresses. “Our football is the biggest engine for social change in Israeli sports and we are always happy to take part in any such important social activity.”

CEO and founder of the Sunflower Association, Hadar Kess: “We thank the director of the Stock Exchange League, who chose to dedicate the 15th round for orphaned children and youth, 30,000 children and adolescents who remain transparent instead of the state. Into this vacuum enters the Sunflower Association “Exercise rights service. The Stock Exchange League is a real partner for us in our mission at Sunflowers – to produce support, assistance and awareness for and for Israeli orphans.”
