The chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh. A high-level delegation of the United States visiting Dhaka will meet with Muhammad Yunus.
According to the press wing of the Chief Adviser, the meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow Sunday at 10:55 am at Dhaka’s Rashtriya Ghatis Bhawan Jamuna.
In the meantime, a high-level 5-member delegation led by US Treasury Assistant Undersecretary Brent Neiman arrived in Dhaka on Saturday (September 14) morning. US State Department Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Donald Lu will arrive in Dhaka in the afternoon. He will come to Dhaka after his visit to Delhi.
This is the first visit of a US delegation to Dhaka after the interim government took over. After coming to Dhaka, they will take part in several joint meetings with the United States organizations with the interim government to advance bilateral relations with Bangladesh.

The US State Department said that during the visit, Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu will reiterate the US commitment to strengthen economic growth and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
