This Friday the mortgage reference has risen just a few thousandths, up to 3.291%, but it does not matter because on Thursday it already exceeded 3% in the monthly rate and today it confirms it. A milestone in a year in which this index has skyrocketed, as it is something that had not happened since 2008.
And it is that although the twelve-month Euribor was showing signs of moderation and, even, stagnation a few weeks ago, the last meeting of types of the European Central Bank (ECB) seems to have encouraged the index.
