Yesterday (Friday), hundreds of people escorted Anat Tal-Katalev and Nitzan Moshe, the two victims of the road accident on Route 6, to rest. A preliminary investigation of the incident revealed that the offending driver, Eli Alataresh, did not have a driver’s license.

Nadav, Anat’s son, eulogized her and said that “when the accident happened I had no doubt that it was you. I don’t know how to explain, I just knew. For several months now you have been claiming that we need to buy a new car, because our car is already old and in Israel it is simply too dangerous. At the beginning of the week You finally bought us the car you wanted so much, and of course it didn’t arrive, but you were so right that it’s dangerous to drive here.”

“Mom, how much did you believe in fate that everything that happens has premonitions. You were born on 22.2, and there was never a moment when the number 22 left you” he added and told. “You always knew that this number would bring you either great success or a huge disaster. And here comes the year 2022 and the disaster is simply the worst of all. A few years ago I heard the scariest sentence I’ve ever heard in my life. You said that the good die first. I know this is a cliché that every child is told, but from that moment I knew it was a matter of time until it reached us.”

Tal-Katelev, a resident of Kibbutz Beit Kama, left behind her husband, four children and her parents and sisters. Nitzan, a resident of Lahavim, left behind a wife and four children.
