jpnn.com – The case of sexual violence that was revealed after an exciting viral video of teachers and students at a MAN in Gorontalo, caught the attention of a number of organizations that are members of the Women and Children Activist Network (Jejak Puan) of Gorontalo Province.

Trace Puan also delivered a statement regarding the case of sexual violence committed by a teacher against his students in Gorontalo.

Director of the Woman Institute for Research and Empowerment of Gorontalo (Wire-G) Kusmawaty Matara in Gorontalo said that the case, which is currently widely circulating and widely discussed among the public, needs attention because the victim is a student who is still a minor.

“Seeing the dynamics in society and the many accusations, comments and treatments that do not defend the interests of the victims, we, a combination of organizations caring for women and children in Gorontalo, feel called to oversee this case,” said Kusmawaty, Sunday (29/9/2024).

The position statement conveyed is that it strongly condemns the recording and distribution of intimate or immoral content involving students and teachers which is now widely circulating on social media.

Trace Puan urged law enforcement officials to carry out comprehensive treatment and have a perspective on child victims.
