Julian Iantzi played Nino Bravo for a day. The friendly presenter of Lesaka, visible face of ‘Esta casa es una mine’ on ETB, changed register and this time chose to tune up his voice to launch into some of Luis Manuel Ferri Llopis’ greatest hits. He did it with aplomb and great naturalness but, yes, accompanied by three of the great protagonists of the RTVE adventure reality show El Conquistador: captains Patxi Salinas (Corocote), Cesc Escolá (Yocahu) and Joana Pastrana (Atabey).

The video was one of the great surprises presented by the Telepasión program, a special with which La1 usually welcomes Christmas and which aired on Christmas Eve with great audience success: it obtained a 20.9% audience share and brought together 1,957,000 spectators.

Music video by Julian Iantzi

It was precisely Julian Iantzi himself who wanted to wink at his followers on social networks months ago, when in October he uploaded a video in which he was seen in Benidorm in the middle of recording. The Navarrese did not want to give more clues and details about what the visit to the Alicante city was for, and the mystery remained in the air… until this week. The reason? The recording of a video clip in which he covers some of Nino Bravo’s greatest hits. The video begins with ‘A kiss and a flower’, a song followed by ‘Libre’ and ‘That will be my house’. The performance ends with the classic ‘I love you, I love you’.

Once the video clip was published on his Instagram account, in which he has more than 34,000 followers, the Navarrese presenter did not hesitate to add humor to the matter and brought out his usual grace. «After discovering the talent of the Swedish group ABBA that triumphed in the world, the same music producer has once again discovered a new quartet of sure international success!! 3 men and a woman who are not going to leave anyone indifferent and who will not go unnoticed. “They are simply going to “Conquer” you!!!”, he added, in clear allusion to the past of Patxi Salinas, Cesc Escolá and Joana Pastrana in the adventure reality show on La 1. Not happy with this, Julian Iantzi apologized to Nino Bravo himself : “Sorry, at least we tried and put a lot of love into doing it.”

Reactions to Julian Iantzi’s video clip

The reactions to the video by Julian Iantzi, Patxi Salinas, Cesc Escolá and Joana Pastrana on social networks have not been long in coming and in just two days the publication has received more than 770 likes. What’s more, the majority of the 43 comments have congratulated the Navarrese presenter for his initiative and some have even praised his voice.
