The wave of violence in Sinaloa is relentless. Early this Wednesday, September 18, four lifeless bodies were found on the Costerita Highway in Culiacán.

Three of the bodies, two of them decapitated, were found under the Mexico 15 highway bridge, while the third, that of a woman, was located near the Barrancos area.

The woman’s head was covered and her hands tied with duct tape, while the other bodies also showed signs of violence and gunshot wounds.

None of the bodies have been identified so far by the authorities, nor claimed by any family members.

Experts from the State Attorney General’s Office carried out work in the area to obtain data and begin the investigation; meanwhile, the bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service amphitheater awaiting being claimed by their relatives.

Findings of murdered people continue to plague areas near the state capital, while authorities minimize the events; such is the case of the Secretary of Public Education and Culture of Sinaloa, who accused teaching staff of not attending their work on September 17, while she declared that she “did not see the danger anywhere” and that she was traveling without protection.

Private schools continue to offer online classes and parents and teachers from public schools refuse to go to schools, despite the orders of the Ministry, for fear of violence that state authorities seem to ignore.
