jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The 2024 Phase VII Business Matching Exhibition will be a prestigious event for vocational education units to showcase their innovative products.
Of the many booths presented by exhibition participants, the vocational booth was the one that attracted the attention of visitors.
Visitors to the exhibition came from various groups, from business people, industry to policy makers.
In total there are around 182 booths taking part in the exhibition which will be held in Denpasar, Bali, on 4-7 March 2024.
These stands exhibited various kinds of domestic products originating from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), and the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan).
Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Suharti, said that the 2024 Phase VII Business Matching Exhibition was one of the government’s efforts to support the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI), in addition to realizing national independence.
“The success of this movement can encourage the development of domestic industry, increase new jobs, absorb labor, and various other multiplier effects which will strengthen economic growth in Indonesia,” said Secretary General Suharti.
He continued, to make Gernas BBI a success, the Ministry of Education and Culture is increasing the development of domestic products carried out by educational units, especially vocational schools, to become products for micro businesses, small businesses and cooperatives, as well as increasing the development of domestic products carried out by universities to become import substitute products.
