The news of the death of Giorgio Lopez, actor and voice actor, arrives online through a short video of his brother Massimo. «A great artist has gone away – says the comedian visibly moved – a great mind, a philosopher, a sage. He taught me a lot, he gave me the courage to do this job ». Giorgio Lopez, born in Naples in 1947, graduated in literature from La Sapienza in Rome and subsequently graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio D’Amico”, gave the voice, among others, to Danny De Vito, Dustin Hoffmann and Bob Hoskins. As dubbing director he had worked with his younger brother at the time of the Trio with Tullio Solenghi and Anna Marchesini. He leaves two children, Gabriele and Andrea, who are also voice actors. The causes of death are unknown at the moment: in a post published on social media about ten days ago, the artist explained that he was suffering from “diseases” without specifying which ones and complained of not being able to get the anti-Covid vaccine.
