It is THE new regulation at “The Voice” that has a lot of potential for trouble. In the “team fights,” the coaches’ talents continually challenge each other to get a “hot seat.”
However, you shouldn’t get too comfortable in the hot seat: the next challenge can result in the final end after an audience vote.
It’s not just the talent that’s affected, the decisions on Friday evening were also difficult for the coaches. While Bill Kaulitz (34) kept complaining about the other coaches’ decisions, Ronan Keating (46) was completely confused after a decision.

At the start of the second team fight, the four hot seats were divided equally between the coaches. However, that would quickly change again – one talent after another challenged the competitors.
Bill Kaulitz was already exhausted: “I never thought it would affect us so emotionally!”
And then also this: After Bill and Tom Kaulitz (34) bowled candidate Laura from the hot seat with their Naomi (19) and a version of their own Tokio Hotel song “Don’t jump,” Ronan Keating (46) went into attack position .

Ronan couldn’t challenge them for the hot seat this time, but Shirin David (28) and Richard (20) had the turn to challenge a talent. Ronan talked to Shirin – he really wanted her to choose a candidate from “Team Toll” as an opponent: “Bill and Tom have two places. Do not forget that!”

The twins’ revenge followed promptly: With their talent Marc Altergott (16), they wanted to challenge Richard for the hot seat again. Bill was very happy about his plan, while Tom tried to appease Shirin: “It’s not personal.”
Bill then revealed that that wasn’t entirely true: “There was a bit of revenge involved. Of course we take it a little personally.” After Marc performed “If I ain’t got you” by Alicia Keys and the audience voting was pending, Tom’s nervousness began to leave its mark.

Shortly afterwards, the voting group (a representative and neutral part of the studio audience) made a decision: Shirin’s talent Richard had to vacate his hot seat, Bill and Tom took back their hot seat with Marc. Shirin became frustrated: “From today on I will no longer be available.”

Bill beamed, of course – but then his facial features fell apart again. This time Ronan attacked again, with Anne (17). Bill’s mood was at its lowest point: “What? I’m sorry, what? I’m leaving right away! I really resent him for that now.”

However, the audience’s decision pulled the rug out from under Ronan’s feet. Surprisingly, Anne had to leave “The Voice”, which had thrilled her so much.

At the end of the evening, however, all the coaches were shaken. Bill groaned: “I need a break now. I can’t do it anymore.” The Kaulitz twins had the most to laugh about: after that evening, they sent two talents into the semi-finals.
On the other hand, Giovanni Zarrella came away empty-handed and didn’t occupy a single hot seat. Frustrated, he concluded: “Today was a brutal day. We entered the race with three talents and no talent made it to the semi-finals.”
