Company Ilex Medical Is honored to announce an additional order in the amount of NIS 119 million from the Ministry of Health (after the agreement was converted from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Health) for the delivery of corona tests (which were fully delivered as of early November 2021).
This invitation comes against the background of the company’s announcement on September 10, 2020, of winning the Ministry of Defense’s tender to establish a corona testing laboratory. The total orders received by the company from the Ministry of Defense / Ministry of Health as part of the tender is NIS 252 million.
It should be noted that as of November 3, 2021, the laboratory continues to provide Corona Laboratory services to the Ministry of Health by winning first place as part of its first individual application in a tender published by the Ministry of Health.
Winning a tender from the Ministry of Health to perform corona tests
The company is honored to announce that it has received notification from the Ministry of Health regarding its announcement as a supplier in the framework tender for the purchase of laboratory services for RT-PCR testing for corona virus detection (2-SARS-CoV virus) published by the Ministry of Health (“Framework tender”).
The framework tender stipulated that suppliers included in the database of suppliers will from time to time receive individual requests from the Ministry of Health to perform RT-PCR tests, and submit their bids for these individual requests and a competitive procedure will take place between them.
The company is honored to announce that it has won first place as part of the first individual referral issued by the Ministry of Health in the volume of daily tests of up to 20,000 tests. The engagement period of this individual application is for three months starting from November 3, 2021, with an option to extend for another two months (a total of five months).
The extent of the contract depends on the situation and the extent of the morbidity in the country and the amount of tests that will be performed by the Ministry of Health. The scope of the contract has a material effect on the volume of the Company’s revenues in the laboratory’s activities. It should be noted that the above information is forward-looking information.
