Numerous clubs presented themselves at the volunteer fair in front of the Edeka market in Wennebostel on Saturday. In addition, a stage program including a fashion show attracted numerous visitors.
Wedemark. It is the third volunteer fair in Wennebostel – this time more than 30 clubs, groups and initiatives presented themselves in the village’s Edeka car park on Saturday. These included the DLRG, the church district, the Repair Café and the Wedemark self-help group.
It was an important day for the volunteer agency that planned the event. Because this day is all about one thing: generating attention. Volunteer coordinator Daniel Diedrich thinks this is very important. “Today, I hope above all for networking between the individual clubs. I also hope that we can recruit young people.”
