The Director of Procedures and Training in the Commission, Dawood Salman Khudair, said, “The percentage of voter card distribution reached 91 percent throughout Iraq, and Diyala governorate topped with 98 percent, while the voter registration rate throughout Iraq reached more than 67 percent, and Diyala also topped with 78 percent.” “.
Khudair added, “The number of voters who have registered so far has reached more than 375,000 voters throughout Iraq, and the number of undistributed cards that are in registration centers has reached more than one million cards.”
He pointed out that “the Commission’s doors are open on Fridays, Saturdays and official holidays, and it is present daily from eight in the morning until three in the evening, and the voter can enter the Ur electronic platform and the Commission’s website to reserve a mobile team for the purpose of registration, and the card will come to him through the team according to the receipt link.”
He pointed out that “handing over the electronic interfaces to the devices will be this last week for the purpose of completing their work, which came according to the election law, which are some variable and more sober procedures, approved by the Board of Commissioners and then circulated to the provincial offices.”
Khudair continued, “We have a workshop for the work of the devices in the middle of the eighth month, which will target all training and data people in all governorates of Iraq.”
