BSNL is installing 1 lakh 4G towers-
BSNL will install 1 lakh 4G towers by the middle of next year. This year, the work of installing towers will be accelerated by BSNL. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has already said about this. He had told that work of installing about 1 lakh towers will be done. The target has also been set for this. This is the reason why the company is making every possible effort to meet this target. In such a situation, everyone is going to get fast internet from BSNL.
What is BSNL’s plan-
25 thousand 4G towers have been installed by BSNL so far. BSNL had said that 75 thousand sites will be completed by Diwali 2024. However, it does not seem to be happening right now. India is working on establishing its own 4G network. This has not been done by any Indian telecom operator. That is, this is going to be a completely Indian network. BSNL has become the first company to do so. Jio has built its own 5G track, while 4G was completed with the help of Samsung.
MTNL Connection-
BSNL has also completed the 5G trial. In some places, their own testing is also going on. A picture was shared by DoT, in which it was told that 5G network is being delivered by MTNL. MTNL is currently operating only in Delhi and Mumbai. There was an agreement between BSNL and MTNL and it was said that this network will be operated by BSNL. That means, in a way, BSNL is going to rule over this too.
TATA-BSNL deal-
Talking about BSNL 4G, Tata is playing an important role in it. Tata is laying the 4G network for BSNL. Apart from 4G and 5G, BSNL is also working on 6G patent. Talking about BSNL, the user base of the company has reduced considerably. This is the reason why the company wants to get it back. It will be completed by mid-2025. There may be a slight delay in completing it from the company’s side. Continuous work is also being done on it.
