Excessive values ​​of natural uranium were registered in the water of two Plovdiv villages. This was reported by the Regional Health Inspectorate. The samples taken were from the village of Vinitsa from the municipality of Parvomai and the village of Milevo from the municipality of Sadovo.

Health authorities have ordered that water in populated areas not be used for drinking purposes and for cooking. It is suitable for hygienic purposes.

A natural uranium indicator result of 41.2 ± 4.0 µg/l was registered, with a specified maximum value of 30 µg/l in the village of Vinnytsia, a fountain in a private house, “Ivan Vazov” street No. 28;
– A natural uranium indicator result of 42.7 ± 4.1 µg/l was registered, with – a determined maximum value of 30 µg/l in the village of Vinnytsia, a fountain on the square;
– A natural uranium indicator result of 42.4 ± 4.1 µg/l was registered, with a specified maximum value of 30 µg/l in the village of Milevo, a fountain in a private house, “1-va” street No. 65;
– A natural uranium indicator result of 39.7 ± 3.8 µg/l was registered, with a maximum value of 30 µg/l. in the village of Milevo, a fountain in a private house, 8 “1-va” street.

The mayors of the settlements have been notified of the results.
