Asked about the recent arrest of COJELPAID coordinator, activist Abdoul Sacko and his deputy, Ismaël Diallo, the Guinean opponent did not go through a thousand ways to deplore the behavior of the agents who acted in flagrant violation of the law.
“What we want from the state judiciary is that when arresting people, we do it according to the rules of the law. We can’t come find someone and take them away, when there’s no warrant for their arrest. He has not been presented with a single document saying that he is wanted for such and such an offense for which he would be accused and that his car is being broken into to arrest him. I find that the way of doing things is outside the legal framework provided by the legislator,” lamented the president of the Liberal Bloc.
Despite the release of his deputy, it should be mentioned that the Guinean civil society activist, Abdoul Sacko, is currently in a hearing at the premises of the Central Directorate of Judicial Investigations (DCIJ-GN), at the national gendarmerie.
