“The wedding singer from Rasheltz was fake and the crowd didn’t dance”

by time news

The resident of the city, a man in his 30s, who works for a living as a singer for weddings and clubs in the Mediterranean genre and in khafelot, claims that the owner of a Tel Aviv club refuses to pay him for his work on the grounds that he failed to please the audience. As a result, the singer decided to sue him.

According to the singer, for over ten years he has been singing at small and medium-sized parties and events and there has never been a complaint about him, but the opposite is true – people were happy and continued to order his services. About a year and a half ago, on one of the occasions that the Corona shutdown allowed, the man came to perform in a Tel Aviv club and for about two hours he sang the best Mediterranean songs to the delight of the revelers who were happy to be freed a little after a long time of being locked in their homes.

At the end of the performance, the singer came to the owner of the club and asked to receive his money, 2,500 shekels for the performance and for the keyboardist who came to perform with him, but to his surprise he received criticism from him. According to him, the owner of the club told him that he was not willing to pay for a performance that was full of fakes and made the audience sit in their seats instead of dancing.

The owner of the club also added that many of the customers left the club and he suffered financial damage and luckily for the singer he is not suing him for the loss of livelihood.

As a result, the singer decided to sue the owner of the club for the amount of 4,000 shekels for the money he owed him and for the mental anguish caused to him.
