With pedagogical proposals for different educational levels, the Ministry of Education carries out recreational days with Municipalities and different organizations throughout the province.
In commemoration of the Day of Physical Activity and Health, the Ministry of Education of the province through the Directorate of Physical Education; Since last Tuesday, 18 recreational activities have been carried out in different cities of the province.
This Tuesday the 25th was the turn of the city of Rawson, where 3rd and 4th year students from primary schools in the provincial capital enjoyed a day of sports and recreation in the vicinity of the Municipal Cinema Theater and the Provincial Legislature. The day was developed with the accompaniment of the Municipal Sports Directorate, Health personnel from the Santa Teresita Hospital and city clubs.
From the Directorate of Physical Education they explained that these days were replicated on different dates in Trelew, Puerto Madryn, Esquel, El Maiten. While they are already scheduled for April 26 in Comodoro Rivadavia and on May 3 they will close in Gaiman.
Trelew Elementary and Secondary Schools
The activities began on Tuesday the 18th at the Chiquichano Lagoon in the city of Trelew.
Divided into two shifts, a total of 700 5th grade students from the city’s primary schools enjoyed a day full of games, sports practice, informative talks, among other activities.
On this occasion, the Trelew Physical Education Center (CEF Nº 26) also participated from the Ministry of Education; and, in addition, they thanked the collaboration and contribution made by the Trelew Municipality Health area, as well as the teachers and students of the IDES Physical Education career; since everyone participated in the day with different activities.
On the other hand, on Friday the 21st an Orientathlon was held in the Bardas area near the Mar y Valle Autodrome; with more than 150 students from the cities of Trelew, Dolavon and Gaiman: Schools 724, 7721, 714, Aliwen, Williams Morris participated.
Beach Games in Puerto Madryn
On April 19 and 20, from the Ministry of Education together with the Municipality of Puerto Madryn, a new edition of the Beach Games was developed on the coast of the town.
Where secondary level students carried out sports practices in the disciplines of basketball, handball, soccer, volleyball and tennis in their beach modalities.
During the two days, some 800 young people from schools No. 736, 750, 790, 786, 785, 741, 775, 7707, 710, 7726 and AMSE participated.
Hike in Esquel
The 6th year students of School Nº758 in Esquel took a walk through the waterfall on the way to La Hoya. The route was 6 km for two hours and with an elevation of 285 meters.
Conference in El Maitén
While in El Maitén, more than 680 students and teachers belonging to Schools No. 420-93-604-530-532-7719 and 726.
The activity began at Esc No. 93 in Buenos Aires Chico, where progress was made on the route walking, jogging or cycling to the Municipal Gymnasium No. 1. There 11 circuits of varied games were developed to enjoy. Health workers from the local Hospital, among other collaborators, also participated in the event.

What remains for the agenda within the framework of the Physical Activity and Health Week, is scheduled for the EPJAS walk on the 26th in Comodoro Rivadavia, School No. 83-EPJA No. 610 at 5:45 p.m., with a tour of historical sites and monuments, with the accompaniment of the Directorate of Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Municipality.
On the other hand, on April 28, the Orientathlon will be held in the El Sombrerito area, with the participation of secondary schools from Playa Unión and Rawson.
To end on April 3 with the recreational day for primary schools in the Lower Valley of the Chubut River in the town of Gaiman.
