In the arrest of a very familiar one youtuber the Authorities proceeded at noon on Tuesday 6/2.
In particular, “Hayate”, or known as “Chief”, is accused that since January 3rd, but also earlier, he continuously engaged in abusive behaviors that included insults, bodily harm, sexual acts, against persons with disabilities due to mental retardation and broadcasting them in real time on social media.
As it became known, the 35-year-old allegedly forced them to carry out various challenges that viewers set by paying the corresponding price, with the aim of obtaining a financial benefit for himself.
In particular, shortly after midnight on Monday, “Hayate” carried out, in a live broadcast on the social networking platform TikTok, acts similar to those described above.

Thus, following complaints, on Tuesday afternoon, police officers from the Racist Violence Department of the State Security Sub-Directorate went to his house in Aigaleo, where a search was carried out during which 7 hard drives and 4 mobile phone devices were confiscated, while he was arrested at the limits of the autoforo.
A case file was filed against him for violation of articles 323A par. 2-1 of the Civil Code. “Trafficking in Human Beings”, 312 P.C. par. 1b P.C. “Bodily Harm to Weak Persons” and 333 B.C. “Threat”, with the aggravating circumstance of article 82A P.C. “Racist crime” due to disability.
At the time of the defendant’s arrest, he was at his home two disabled people present due to mental retardation which, following a previous order of the Prosecutor, were taken to a hospitality structure.
The arrested person will be brought before the Athens District Attorney on Wednesday morning.
The case with the 42-year-old YouTuber who was arrested last November
It is recalled that in November 2023, with the same charges, a 42-year-old YouTuber was arrested (and remanded in custody), who, in a live broadcast, continuously abused two young people by taking advantage of their disability.
The Authorities targeted the YouTuber circuit that, with the aim of financial gain, abused people with disabilities live on YouTube, extracting sums of money from viewers.
The Police had also searched other YouTube channels and were gathering information for new arrests, but also to reach the “Chief”, but the search had apparently “frozen”. However, this is what… reassured the 35-year-old, who after some time returned to his action and finally fell into the hands of the Authorities.
