The head of the supervisory body for the maintenance and development project of the Western Sector Coastal Road (Sabratha – Zuwara sector), Khaled Jumaa, announced great progress in the project work, confirming the near completion of the second phase of it.
According to Jumaa; The project, which extends over a length of 20 km, is being implemented with the latest international road technologies, as it relies on the first-class American Standard Road Specifications (AASHTO), with the addition of modern materials such as improved polymer and “Flex 20”, which are materials used for the first time in construction works. Jumaa indicated that the completion rate in the project has exceeded 90%, as 17 kilometers of work have been completed, while the focus is currently on the last 3 kilometers around the city of Zuwara.
