Nine girls get on a private jet to Hawaii, are shipwrecked in the middle of the ocean and manage to swim to a desert island. This is not an accident: the teenagers, each with a traumatic experience, unbeknownst to them, they were chosen to participate in a social experiment. The series takes place on three temporal planes: the distant past (the traumas), the present past (the island) and the present (the FBI investigations). Each episode, as in other choral series seen in recent years, takes the point of view of one of the protagonists. So far the first season of The Wilds, Amazon teen drama that today lands on the streaming platform with the second chapter. In which it will be discovered that teenagers are not the only guinea pigs chosen for the experiment: another group of castaways, all boys, fight for survival under the electronic eye of the mysterious “puppeteer”.
