Demand for the industrial areas in Ofakim is among the highest in the country. The Ofakim industrial area is networked with natural gas and is in a great location in the western Negev region, a combination that gives the city a great advantage, along with being Development Area A. All of these create significant employment and industrial complexes in the city. ”

Yaakov Quint, Director of the Israel Land Authority: “We are seeing a boom and increase in demand for land in the south, both for residential purposes but also for employment purposes. As part of a comprehensive solution, along with an increase in the marketing of land for housing, Rami is investing a great deal of effort in marketing and developing employment areas. The marketing of employment complexes is an economic lever for the development of the communities in the south. ”
