Lala Heydarli, silver medalist of the 4th Open Championship of the Ojag Sport club in rhythmic gymnastics, said this to Day.Az on Thursday. The gymnast took second place in the exercise program without apparatus among participants born in 2016 (category C).
“Today I performed well, the coach praised me. It’s nice that I was able to win a medal, because there were many participants in the competition, and they all prepared well for the championship,” noted the representative of the Ojag Sport club.
As the gymnast noted, the atmosphere at the championship is wonderful.
“We are all united by the love of gymnastics. The championship is held in a friendly atmosphere and gives us positive impressions,” added the young athlete.
It should be noted that the 4th Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship of the “Ojag Sport” club is taking place on April 4-6. More than 180 gymnasts take part in the competition.
Along with representatives of the Ojag Sport club, pupils of the Specialized Children and Youth School of Olympic Reserve in Gymnastics, the Republican Complex Sports School, the Aquatic Sports Palace, the Zira Cultural Center, the branch of the Ojag Sport club in the village of Govsan and Olympic sports complex in Shagan.
Competitions are held in several age categories.
