Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has lauded and congratulated the farmers who have succeeded in the Gandhian way and welcomed the decision of the Prime Minister of the country. “History teaches us that the aspirations of the people will prevail in a democracy,” he said. He did not mention the name of the Prime Minister on Twitter.
The RSS had also instructed the party leadership to take the peasant agitation seriously. The alleged massacre of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri, in which the Union Home Minister was accused, had caused great dissatisfaction among the Sikh community as well as the Jat community.
