Earlier CD Projekt Red announced that it will be indefinitelydelayThe next generation update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. They have confirmed that the follow-up development of the update will be transferred to the internal team, but for the time being, “the scope of the development work and the new release date must be evaluated.” According to the original plan, the update should be launched in the second quarter of this year. After the upgrade, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC players will be able to enjoy a better gaming experience brought about by new technologies such as ray tracing. And it’s going to be a “full version” of the game with content such as expansion packs, as well as new DLC from Netflix’s The Witcher series.
It is not clear why CDPR delayed the update, but given that this is the last update of “The Witcher” before the arrival of the new Unreal Engine 5 work, it is completely understandable for the official to strive for perfection, right?
