For Anastasia Biefang, the reason for changing her external appearance was a corona disease: she lay in bed powerless last autumn, she “didn’t feel like getting up and shaving off the stubble that the Bundeswehr commander had grown. Then the 47-year-old just let her facial hair sprout – it felt “completely okay” for her. At one point she was even mistaken for a resurrected Kurt Cobain. Anastasia tells me about funny encounters on the street, the smile of a passer-by whose eyes wander curiously from her chest to her head, who apparently couldn’t get her breasts and beard together.
