Perinthalmanna (Malappuram) ∙ A young woman who was sleeping with her husband at home in Elamkulam was found murdered by tying a cloth around her neck. The husband, who went missing from the scene, was later taken into police custody.
Fatima Fahna (30), daughter of Poothrodi Kunhalavi, was killed near Elamkulam reading room. The police arrested her husband Parappuravan Muhammad Rafeeq (35) from his house in Mannarkkad Pallikunnu Avanakunnu who went missing from his house in the morning.
Fahna was found at four in the morning yesterday in the bedroom with her legs tied to the window and the bed with a cloth and a cloth stuffed in her mouth. Fatima Fahna and Rafiq got married 6 years ago.
