The women’s futsal team arrived in the capital, Baghdad, on Tuesday morning, after concluding its training camp in the Kingdom of Morocco, which lasted for nine days, during which it played two trial matches with the Moroccan women’s futsal team, in readiness for the Asian Cup qualifiers in Thailand.
The Charge d’Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in the Kingdom of Morocco, Imad Muhammad Marza, said in a statement to the Football association received by the (INA): “The iraqi embassy tried to provide all forms of support for the success of the training camp in the Kingdom of Morocco, and accompanied the training and pleasant matches with the host Moroccan national team.”
He stressed, “Regardless of the results, the players presented excellent levels in terms of performance and physical fitness, and we do not forget that the Moroccan team is one of the major teams in africa, and we expect the national team to reach the final stages based on the technical level that we saw against Morocco.”
At the end of his speech, he sent a message to the players, “wishing all the best and success for the national team, and that this training camp has achieved what is required.”
