This Wednesday, January 1, the Women’s Secretariat al start 2025 so that none is invisible and as an act of historical justice, announced the government of the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
Through a statement the new Women’s Secretariat announced his creation this January 1the first day of the year 2025.
It is worth remembering just last December 16, President Claudia Sheinbaum signed a series of reforms of secondary laws in favor of womenlikewise with the arrival of his government to Mexico, also announced the creation of this new secretariat.
They create the Women’s Secretariat at the start of 2025 so that no one is invisible
In its statement the Women’s Secretariatwhose first owner is Citalli Hernández, indicates that the creation of this secretariat is so that no woman is invisible.
He also emphasizes that the creation of the Women’s Secretariat it’s a historic act of justice of the conquest of women’s struggles.
Likewise, he highlights that this secretariat is a symbol of a country that decided “with courage, to take a definitive step towards equality, dignity and hope.”
In the document they assure that this moment is not only an institutional triumph, it is also a declaration of principles where they highlighted the phrase “Never again will women be invisible in the construction of the nation”.
With the creation of this Women’s Secretariat affirms that it is the promise of a future where “every girl born on this earth does so with the certainty that her voice will be heard.”
He adds that the Women’s Secretariat is the echo that those who fought before are the strength of those who resist today and the legacy for those who will come tomorrow.
The statement concludes that this Women’s Secretariat is the future of Mexico that they dare to dream of: “fair, equal and profoundly free.”

- General Law on Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence
- National Code of Civil and Family Procedures
- National Code of Criminal Procedure
- General Law of the National Public Security System
- Federal Labor Law and the Law of Workers in the Service of the State, regulating Section B of Article 123 of the Constitution
Therefore, seven secondary laws aim to promote substantive equality, the gender perspective, the right of women to a life free of violence and the eradication of the gender pay gap.
