Corona vaccine is being given to people over 15 years of age in Perambalur-Ariyalur districts on behalf of the Department of Public Health and Immunization. For those who have been vaccinated with the corona vaccine 2 times, the booster vaccine is being given in the 3rd installment.
In this context, as per the order of the First-Minister, special camps for the vaccination of children aged 12 to 14 years called Corbyvex corona vaccine started yesterday in Perambalur-Ariyalur districts.
Vaccinated 46,900 people
In the first phase 25 schools and 39 primary health centers in Ariyalur district and in the first phase 41 schools and 29 primary health centers in Perambalur district special camps were held. Collector Ramanasaraswathy, Special Director, Corona Vaccination Camp for 12- to 14-year-olds at Ariyalur Government High School, inaugurated the visit in the presence of Dr. Geetharani, Deputy Director, Health Services.
Special camps for coronary vaccination were held at Government High School, Government Aided Girls’ High School, Perambalur for students between the ages of 12 and 14 years. A total of 22,100 students in classes 7, 8 and 9 in schools in Ariyalur district aged 12 to 14 years and a total of 24,800 students in Perambalur district will be vaccinated against corona through special camps by the health department. Of these, 2,273 were vaccinated in camps on the first day yesterday and a total of 8,303 were vaccinated in Perambalur district, up from 5,030.

Also, it is not mandatory to register on Govin’s website. Although not registered, health workers are required to register and be vaccinated. Therefore, a request has been made on behalf of the respective district administrations that the students, their parents and teachers should extend full cooperation to the health department to carry out the task of administering the corona vaccine. It is noteworthy that students aged 12 to 14 years who have been vaccinated with the first installment of the Corbyvex corona vaccine will be vaccinated 2 times after 4 weeks.
