Conducted at the heart of the pension reform – which worries 69% of French people – this survey also shows that the government is neglecting two paths in its project. First, that of the employment of seniors. A quarter of French people are in favor of encouraging and developing employment for 55-64 year olds to help bring the pension system back into balance. It is true that with an employment rate of seniors at 56% – below the European average, situated at 60% – France has significant room for improvement in this area.
