The city’s streets continue to be upgraded – works to upgrade the sewer system on Arlozorov Street are underway

The Kfar Saba municipality continues to upgrade the city’s streets and infrastructure, as part of multi-year work plans to upgrade all public spaces in Kfar Saba.

Within this framework, work will begin next week to upgrade the sewer system on Arlozorov Street, through the Pelagi Hasharon Corporation, which includes the main sewer line on the street and the extensions to all the houses and buildings on the street.

The works are expected to begin on Sunday 10/30 and last until almost the end of November, and this is among other things as part of the city’s preparation for winter – which includes upgrading sewer and drainage systems, pruning trees as needed, cleaning drainage openings, inspecting educational institutions and public buildings, and more.

The upgrade works on the street are added to other upgrade works that have recently been carried out in the area, on Aharonovitch and Ustshinsky streets, as well as the works being carried out along Ben Gurion Street and the works in the Aliyah neighborhood – which include the upgrading of the sewage and water system and are carried out throughout the city through the Maintenance and Operations Department, the Economic Company for the Development of Kfar Saba, Pelagi Corporation Hasharon and the water plant, new street furniture on Weitzman Street, new play facilities in public gardens, new free fitness centers, innovative and economical street lighting, and more.

In addition, this coming Sunday there will be another painting operation throughout the city, which includes renewal of routing signs, crosswalks, stop and slow lanes, squares and traffic islands throughout the city, among others on Weizman, Ben Yehuda, Menachem Begin, Azar, Hapoel, Levi Eshkol streets, The Leader, HaGalil, HaShahar, HaCarmel, David Elazar, Arbel and Herzl – and this as part of an ongoing multi-year work plan in the entire city.

The mayor, Rafi Sa’ar: “During the past three years, we have carried out many upgrading works for public gardens, roads, sidewalks, lighting and street furniture, old infrastructures – which have been neglected for years and required in-depth upgrading and renovation. This is in addition to the hundreds of millions of shekels we have invested in the education system for the purpose of in-depth renovation of schools and kindergartens, the establishment of classrooms News, building innovative learning spaces and more.
